We were doing some portraits today in Ginza, we turn a boardroom into a temporary portrait studio for the afternoon.

I even managed to take the train, luckily I had some good people to help me complete the job. One thing I have noticed recently on a positive side is my shoe cleaning bills have halved and my socks last twice as long!!!!!!!!!!

In December last year I worked with a Russian writer who was writing an article about various aspects of Japanese life for a Russian airlines inflight magazine. It was published in January and has been on various flights since then. Just this week I received a copy. It’s so nice to see completed work in print. Below are a couple of spreads from the inflight magazine of Rossiya Russian Airlines. Click the images to see a larger version.

Just before Christmas I was fortunate enough to receive a commission to do a photo shoot for Symantec. ADK, Alien-Eye and Natural Code Graphic were involved with regards planning, production, design and art direction. My roll was to press the button on the camera! It was great for for me anyway as it was the first time in a long time I had been back in the Studio using lighting and working with many interesting and creative people. Here are a few shots back stage and also some of the finished Ad’s as they are seen on the Symantec website!

Group photograph

I sometimes photograph events for the British Embassy Tokyo, on this occasion they asked me to take a group photograph of the Embassy staff with the Ambassador as a leaving present for Sir Graham who was leaving office. Below is a slideshow of “The making of the group photograph”.
